One of the top reasons for going to Sydney is the because of the excellent beaches that are only a short stroll from the city centre. Have a breakfast at Bronte an then do the cliff-walk to Bondi via Tamarama Beach.

If you want to walk a bit further down you may want to walk to maroubra Beach via Coogee before heading back to Bondi(you can take a bus back)

There are many excellent cafes, seafood restaurants and bars & clubs on the seafront. Please see also Bondi Junction and the modern shopping centre. Use Lamrock Lodge Bondi Beach as your hub to cover a large area.
